Is there another thread?

But as to your inquiries, I think you have begun to grasp some of the essentials here.

I will say though that if you are holding COMS as a result of USRX, there's extra points for that.

I post here and I don't/won't own it at this high price.

(1) Do you have to own COMS to post on this thread?

Sold: Message 13264060

(2) Do any of you actually own any COMS? Moonray had the
stuff for years but sounds like he finally cracked and bailed.

All new members must be over 50. You qualify. Too many
snot-nosed kids under 50 here, already.<g>

(3) Are there any particular qualifications needed to
join in here, other than a good sense of humor when EB
brings the house of cards crashing down yet again?

David, I have tried posting to the sister thread over the
past 3 years, but it has been a chore. Fisticuffs have
broken out many times. I much prefer this thread, but at
times it is almost dead.

o~~~ O

David,

Your insight into the workings of COMS as an investment has been well documented on the COMS thread. I for one welcome your participation here. All one needs is a sense of humor (as you noted) and an ability to see the forest from the trees. Just keep in mind that the "regulars" here are survivors of no fewer than 6 USRX threads going back several years. Hence, the "Other Stuff", meaning that off topic posts are considered on topic.

I'm hanging on to see of PALM/COMS gets a boost when the underwriters come out with their buy recommendations this week, now that Palm's quiet period is ending. Seems to be the logical play to me, though logic has rarely prevailed in this battle. Your thoughts?

Just show up...that is all you have to do. Oh...you have to put up with us too...some have been here 5 years or more. We're not PALM people as much as we are descendants of Robots.

David T,
I lurk here and occasionally post. I held from USRX days till I recently flipped that bucket and bought it back lower.

This thread has the obvious benefit of not having the dreaded MA here. But it also has the more important benefit of having virtually no discussion related to 3Com.

I fall under the age requirement here but i get to learn important life lessons from the elders. For example, after 'meeting' David Lawrence's wife, I have learned WHY I am not .. and will never be ... married.
