Spuds,

I'll take Number 6,

<<6. With t starting an IPO with their wireless branch, wouldn't it make sense for them to wait on any possible CMDA transition?>>

Makes perfect sense, but I doubt it. Accounting for this type of transition could either be through a charge under their existing structure, or create the wireless tracker and just explain the whats/whys of converting to CDMA, then account for it either via a charge, or just explain you are following the Sprint PCS model and hope the market affords a similar valuation for some duration of net losses.

Either way, you gotta admit you screwed up in the first place.

Well, except for last week, it would appear that the M-F trend is continuing. Q is still the contrarian, and people see that the momentum has shifted to "safer" issues.

Shocked all the way around:

1. Cramer wants to own and hold? Now what do I do? He was always my contrarian. It is nice to see humility from the sound of the comments.

2. Nice observations about "Hunter/Gatherer" as it applies to stocks, TL. Got a nice laugh, and it is good to see the board getting 'lighter' in respects to spirits. Since I buy/hold/trade, does that make me a hermaphrodite?

3. The dream isn't too far off, and if people aren't on board by now, the train will soon be out of sight. Internet access by phone (High speed), satellite, global connectivity and communication, pure and clear via digital, no telling what is next. (I have an idea that will make Sony blow their minds, and if I got it, then they surely have already thought of it) The IRS better get with it, because soon, we'll all take our equipment to Montana and tell them to come and try to collect!

4. Well, sorry Diamond, split talk will continue until we see some action like G*. And yes, we can still have steady, solid, growth at the same time. Our cake and share it to?

5. I Post over here because the "Clutter complaining" is beginning again. How many threads need to exist? Y'all dont' come over here OK? This one is just for us Hollywood Clampettes (sp?) and Springer candidates.

6. Embrace the volatility and love it.

Q rocks, G* walks, just a matter of time...

Hmmm, I guess we'll just have to stop taking the 'experts' on CNBC so seriously, unless of course, you do the opposite of what they say. Was it Custer who used Muleskinner as a "reverse barometer" in "Little Big Man"? Don't hate them, use them to your advantage. So what if they don't like Q. We all know better. Lawyers and retribution are a waste of good energy. Just go buy some more if what they say really has a negative effect. (I don't think it does, but I could be wrong.) Traders trade, investors don't give a toot. : )

I watch them in passing as the day goes on, but mostly out of entertainment than anything, unless Martha is on. (Is she cute or what?) I especially get a kick out of watching Maria shouting from the floor of the dino exchange, like she's a part of the hustle and bustle, excitement in action. Is this to add to her 'in touch' credibility? Too much!

This appears to be fear at its best, and maybe some more to come. Hope some had some cash sitting in wait. Soon the accumulation will begin again.

Q rocks, just a matter of time...

So, it did materialize after all. Sure fire formula for disaster: follow the herd + do what the 'experts' say.

Time to take action, or stand on the sidelines.

Red=sale (as in red tag)
