If you are a good parent you do what is best for the child- whatever that is. You can't know if I am a good parent, I can't know if you or anyone else on this thread is one. I can agree with some ideas, or not agree, but you can't know what people are really like.

Incest is a problem, men are primarily responsible- but you certainly can't diagnose it over the net. I don't know what went on here- it's too weird for me, and that's going some because I am pretty tolerant of weird sh*t.

I remember someone- maybe Lorrie- talked about a car commercial where the guy says he just wants to hold onto his little girl for a little while longer. Whoever commented on it said it had a subtext that was pedophilic. I hadn't seen the commercial so I couldn't comment at the time. But I saw it recently with my husband, and we both agreed it was a sweet and tender message (and that we were being marketed too, since it hit us where our hearts are). Just wanted to say that. Sometimes you can see whatever you are looking for- innocent things can seem sinister if you are looking for sinister things. Of course sometimes innocent looking things DO turn out to be sinister. You just never know. I certainly don't.
