For the biotech/pharmaceutical crowd...the FDA turned down an impt colon cancer drug oxaliplatinum (from France)and Bristol Meyers Squibb withdrew their application for an important oral medication for colon cancer. There has been only 1 new drug approved for the Rx of colon cancer in the last 30 years and these drugs would have been welcome additions. I will be hearing new lymphoma data next weekend on the west coast and I know that inquiring minds want to know so I will keep you posted. The national oncology meetings will be in New Orleans on May 19th-23rd.
