Hmmmm....let's see....380,000 villages, with 2 fixed site terminals each. You'd think they would have perhaps begun ordering said units. Or, perhaps, they would have installed and fired up the other two gateways that were planned. One other question--how expensive is the telegraph?

Maybe Brian will give us the real oil.

Re China rumor, remember, that's what the thread was discussing a week or so ago.

I place NO VALUE on such posts but for the sake of discussion it fits right in with some of my thoughts~ cheaper to place G* fixed phones around the country side than digging a bunch of holes.
