Duane,

That would be the medical instruments/healthcare products industry doing its thing. My pick is IFLO ......just as much a little spec as yours......but I have been watching MDT for some leadership.

Also on my list are BDX BSX CAH OCR MNTR.........maybe I should do a post on it so we can go back to the information more easily.

Duane, I've been lurking here and noticed your reference to CTEC. I'm no longer in it, but I happened upon this article today just after I read your message, fyi.

Re Prilosec, I noticed that their ads are still on TV. Perhaps it just takes a while to remove them. I'm wondering, though, if this is as bad for JNJ as it first looked. I know from personal experience that Prilosec is an extraordinary drug. Nothing else compares. I took it for a brief period a few years ago. My doctor told me I could only take it for a short period and made sure to follow up on its effect on my liver. Lately seeing it advertised on TV, I began wondering if the warnings had been overdone and if it was now considered suitable for long-term use. Apparently not. Nonetheless, I'm wondering if, as things settle down, the drug won't be available once again for short-term use due to popular demand. Not as much money for JNJ, but better than nothing.

[As an aside, it deeply concerns me that the FDA would press for removal of an effective drug apparently because some doctors/patients are to busy/lazy/stupid to use it in accordance with the instructions.]

I have no position in JNJ. Still long LSI. Back to lurk mode.
