Ted, what Scumbria was asking is the difference between a link taking you to a different site and a link that opens a whole new browser window and leaves the current one unchanged. As you may have noticed all the non SI related link in SI open a whole new window before taking you there.

Mani,

Yes, I understood the question and I understand how to do what Scumbria was asking, but I don't understand how what you were saying is different from what I am saying, or to put it in other words, I don't understand the difference between the url address and the code you cited. Its the posting of the link or url address that causes a new window to pop up.

Mani, Ted,

all the non SI related link in SI open a whole new window before taking you there.

Thanks for the info. Now I understand that it is controlled by SI, and out of the poster's hands.

I didn't mean to stir up any controversy over this.
