Ted, I must be missing something....the url address(the link) may be controlled by SI's HTML document but so what? Its the link that actually opens up the new window and that was Scumbria's original question. Why its necessary to know the issues surrounding the HTML code and the SI documents that control a post in order to provide a link escapes me? IMHO, Scumbria's question can be interpreted in two ways - the way I (after reading his response to Mani's post) interpreted his question, as inquiring about if there is a way to specify an URL that would make it open in a new window (URL driven?). Another way to interpret his question was the way you did (which was also happened to be my original interpretation before his response to Mani's post). BTW this is not an attack on you at all; I just annoyed with the way the whole thing unfolded.....and I am not sure why. No problem. Goutama
