Deal size: 5,000,000 Price range: 10.00 - 12.00 Led by: Morgan Stanley Dean My take: This one has what the previous music distribution site IPOs lacked -- industry backing (BMG, Sony and Universal). Toss in a big commitment from Chase and you've got what looks to me like a hit. I like it. ICICI BANK LTD IPO: (IBN:NYSE) Private-sector commercial bank organized under the laws of India. Deal size: Price range: tba Led by: Merrill Lynch My take: Each ADR represents two common shares. Non-EDGAR filing. I have not seen a herring on this deal and am hoping some kind soul will email me one. Till then, no opinion. OPUS360 CORP IPO: (OPUS:Nasdaq) An integrated Web-based solution for putting people and projects together across the labor supply chain. Deal size: 7,700,000 Price range: 9.00 - 11.00 Led by: Robertson Stephens My take: This is a great market for labor solutions providers, but will the market buy this deal? Revs are tiny and losses are huge -- my best guess is a buck or two first day. Maybe better. WEBSENSE INC IPO: (WBSN:Nasdaq) Provider of employee Internet management solutions. Deal size: 4,000,000 Price range: 14.00 - 16.00 Led by: Chase H&Q My take: 3/24/2000 Price increased from 12.00 - 14.00. Revenue growth is strong and the technology sounds saleable to me. H&Q is more than capable. It makes sense. Get it? Sense, WebSense? Sheesh.
