LENS.. looking for $0.15 versus $0.1 which is increase in 1,400%.. Reports April 21. Great chart new 52 week high. Almost caught it after the correction on Friday, but faltered. Broke out very cleanly from symmetrical triangle formation. This company is really now moving on this deal and it will be volatile in the weeks to come. This stock is still priced low enough to provide good upside but only if their EPS is not a disappointment. Even just meeting the estimates will be enough in this case. I'd watch this one carefully. Concord Announces OEM Agreement With Kodak Senior Research Analyst: Glenn Curtis (3/24/00) Concord Camera (NADSAQ: LENS) has inked a three year, $20-25 million OEM deal with Eastman Kodak Company for the supply of advanced photographic system cameras. An expected OEM agreement had been one of the catalysts for the stock in recent months. Nevertheless, investors bid the company's shares up more than $4 in Thursday trading. Later this year, the company is expected to release a camera that is Internet-enabled, as well as a camera that will be a ``young persons' digital camera that will retail for under $100. Though investors have already bought the stock in anticipation of these events, a further pop in the stock is not out of the question. Those drivers have led some institutional investors to predict that the company could earn as much as $1.78 per share in 2001. The current consensus estimates are calling for Concord to earn $1.47 per share. Should the company meet those more aggressive estimates, the stock is likely to surge yet higher. That said, we still believe the stock to be more than fully valued based on current prospects. Some make the case that OEM companies are worth 40 to 50 times earnings in this market. Concord has been likened to Jabil Circuit (NYSE: JBL - news), an OEM producer of electronic print-board assemblies. Jabil trades at 38.9 times fiscal 2001 estimates. But Jabil has boosted sales at a 40% annual clip over the last five years. Concord, on the other hand, lacks such a proven track record.
