Yes I do believe that NTRO has a compelling story long-term if they are able to deliver. Today's article in IBD makes some interesting points. 80% of NTRO's sales are expected to come from Europe which is pursuing wireless faster than the US due to the cable and DSL infrastructure being sparse, and who wants to dig up all those cobblestones to lay the lines. NTRO CEO was quoted as saying that most European local carriers have committed to cover 50% of the population in 12 months and they are going with wireless.

Wireless broadband industry is expected to grow from $1 bil to 10 bil by end of 2002. NTRO will be challenged in this space by Alcatel and Marconi, but it's deals with Siemens and LU, and possibly MOT upcoming, NTRO will be able to offer the same end to end packages as the big boys. And NTRO's partners offer access to the biggest local carriers. It sounds like their products have the potential very soon to be adopted as the industry standard.

Sales grew 371% to 7.7 mil last quarter. 18.2 mil over the last year, up 237%.

This is the news that caused the recent run to 100, saying their new product has the capability to cover four of the major licensed bands in broadband.
