[[I see the 810/810E mobo's are up on the Intel site. 810 for Celeron and 810E for PIII.
Couple of observations. They use the new FC PGA socket that Intel is trying to get everyone to convert to, and they only have DIMM sockets for SDRAM. So I'm wondering, if the 820/840 mobos' use SLOT1 and RIMM's, and the 810's use FC PGA and DIMM's, where are desk tops heading"?]]

They should be heading for the FC PGA socket as a single jumper is all that is necessary to handle both Celeron and Coppermine FCPGAs. The 810(E) is strictly a low end chipset as it has integrated video which cannot be disabled. Unless Intel deliberately cripples it, the upcoming 815 should become the most popular Intel chipset for SDRAM.
