When I was at the vet's this past fall I heard one of the nurses tell a woman her pet (dog) should never be given cheese. THe woman had said to her pet, "I'll give you a nice piece of cheese when we get home." Something about cheese having a cumulative effect over time. Something about kidney problems or diabetes???
