Perry, I believe the following is solid evidence AWARE sits in the Catbird seat as far as being an IP company goes. As the saying goes...Imatation is the greatest form of a compliment one can receive. Orckit Communications (Nasdaq: ORCT - news) is also looking to cash in on the broadband semiconductor boom and is expected to spin off its semiconductor business. The company plans to distribute the new semiconductor business' shares to its current shareholders and to register the entity as a public company by mid-2000 biz.yahoo.com

And by the way, WHO THE HELL KEEPS SELLING THEIR SHARES?????????? I dont think that is the problem. There are just no buyers. The volume has turned into a trickle and until that changes, we will just drift lower. Basically we need a catalyst. Earnings are about three weeks away and I expect good things there. Hey Aware, how 'bout a pre-announcement (a positive one that is). They must have a pretty good idea of how their quarter is shaping up and if ADI is any indication the numbers should be strong. A pre-announcement might draw some much needed attention here.
