The way I see it, when someone has views which appear so completely divorced from reality, it's only humane to offer a possible explanation for those views. Now, I could simply have said, "you are deranged" and left it at that. But I instead tried to empathize with her, in order to determine how and why she would think my posts described something so horrific and disgusting. Do you deny that people are often times greatly effected by childhood trauma's such as molestation, rape and incest? It's also interesting to note, although I have repeatedly offered this as a possible explanation for her views, she hasn't disputed the assertion. Michael
