I am not hedging- I know what feels wrong to me. What you do seems wrong, what Lorrie does seems wrong, Neo's encouraging your behavior seems wrong. I've encouraged people to do things that were wrong- but not on a consistent basis. And I've tried very hard to learn from each time I feel I went over the top. FWIW I personally feel bad about stopping CH's licking sessions with Edwarda. Yeah it made me uncomfortable, and I was only being honest, but the force of my personality and my tendency to see things in back and white (instead of the grey whcih intellectually I believe in) turned it into an issue of right and wrong when I don't even really believe in right and wrong. But I've learned from that. And if something offends me I try to let it go most of the time- unless there seems to be a FACTUAL problem- which is what I saw here. The given facts Michael posted don't support what Lorrie said to him, what Lorrie posted doesn't necessarily support the conclusion Michael came to. If that's hedging I don't see it. I am trying very hard to be less cruel to the people I don't like on the net. I FEEL that is a good thing. I FEEL you don't do that. I FEEL that is wrong. But since I'm a relativist I really can't tell you it IS wrong. however since you seem SO like Lorrie to me it would seem hypocritical to me for someone to criticize Lorrie and defend you. But I could draw a few distinctions between the two of you- they just don't seem meaningful to me- they are obviously meaningful for Neocon. Now I've really tried to explain myself- I hope you won't call me a windbag for making the effort.
