That isn't all of it. Did you realize dog food is cheaper bought at the local pet place than on line? Often groceries are cheaper at the chain supermarket than on line! The bigest companies bring in whole skids (or even trucks) of a given item or two driving down the transportation costs. over the on line market show may only buy a single carton of canned goods at one time.

When it costs the same or less & everyone has the internet then they might have some market chance - in non-fresh items. .
