Talked with the manager of a roofing company today. Their
cost of shingles has been rising 15-18% per month and they have been advised to expect 3 more months of increases.
The BLS will most likely substitute thatch for shingles in it's next PPI as a smoothing effect for the rise in oil -g-

i'm not so sure the XAU will collapse though... AU traded up today and the smaller golds liek GSR appeared to have their giveups today whereas the alrger shares saw that late last week.

i don't really care.. i own the stuff and am just sitting on it.
