I am repressing out right laughter over your post. This isn't the Yahoo Siebel message board mind you. Either you haven't been keeping up on the CRM side of things, are so in love with Oracle you have lost touch with reality or are an obvious Oracle 'plant'. Sorry for being so rude but your posts are too obvious to have any other kind of response from this thread.

If you are honestly 'in the dark' about the CRM market I suggest you reacquaint yourself with the latest CRM market share figures, review Siebel's financials, their client list and business partners. For fun look at how many business partners were added last quarter alone.

On the other side of the fence we have Oracle that is now 'claiming' to be the #2 CRM vendor. We in the industry all get a chuckle over this one. For it's well known on the street that Oracle basically gives away their CRM product to customers and then counts it as a sale. It would be very interesting to see the number of 'pure' CRM sales that Oracle has made.

Having worked for many years in the CRM business (and having business associates that work for Oracle on the CRM effort) I am quite comfortable with my Siebel stock. It is the only CRM company I now hold (I sold Vantive and let my Clarify shares convert to Nortel stock). Siebel has the CRM market sewn up and is now headed into the tornado of e-commerce CRM with a full head of steam. Numerous partners (over 400 at last count including IBM and I2) and excellent lead-in sales (@HOME, Yahoo, Dept. of Defense, GM's Saturn division etc..) have me very excited about this next huge market looming before the Siebel juggernaut.
