Rambus Shares on Margin

Here is an interesting point for anyone who has Rambus in a "Margin Account". STUART you might want to check this on your account.

If you have your Rambus shares in a margin account and desire to have those shares moved to the cash side of your account so they can't be lent out for a short seller, you need (For Charles Schwab clients )to have your account Representative remove the "electronic" automatic journal feature assigned to that account to prevent having your shares automatically being returned to the Margin side of the account where they can again be shorted.

I had move my shares a while back only to find today they were back on the margin side. I am not sure this is the case with all brokers but it is with C. Schwab. So don't just assume one day your stock is cash only, because you had it done, because if you don't request this function be removed or turned off, your shares WILL be returned to the margin side automatically without your permission.

Regards

Don
