Jimbo:

CSCO is the best managed company in the world. Just watch John Chambers, number one CEO in my book. Ask the employees of CSCO, how much dedication they have. With so many companies being bought by CSCO, the integration is not that easy, yet CSCO has been be to amalgam them with minimal dissention. Compare that to COMS which bought US Robotics. Up to now they have not been able to mix the western and eastern cultures.

If we want to judge how good the company is, some small items could provide a clue: talk to the employees. when they start complaining that the little perks are taken away such as free coffee, now cost $ 0.50/cup, just take it as sign of trouble ahead: management concentrating on nickel and dimes instead of the big picture.

Is CSCO too expensive? I have heard that argument many many years ago, yet my CSCO holdings keep splitting and splitting and splitting. If Dow Jones is not including CSCO very soon, there is something wrong.

Best regards

Paul
