Zeev, where do you come up with this 13mm shares coming on the market? The convert being called only has about 7.3mm shares - you thinking employee options?

And how did this convert get down to $333mm from $500mm? Someone must have converted a bunch already, which seems strange.

Zeev, I agree.

But one thing you should know, the puts did not loose any significant value due to time decay. The theta values are still small. Still 4 weeks left on them. My puts lost value due to their high leverage and the significant uptrend still maintained by MU, along with a loss of implied volatility (but this was a minor effect).

Even though it is a loss, it isn't a greater loss now that it is a cash loss versus a paper loss. To the contrary, I now have control over the situation and can re-enter a bullish or bearish position at any time.
