Zeev:

Quarter end coming may have a bit to do with it. After month end, we may see some serious dumping. Or perhaps, not. The profitability of this company hasn't been significant and is sliding, but in this mania, profits are of no concern.

I'll acquire MU puts in the near term now, just to provide an excellent "market insurance policy", in case the bear really gets into gear. IBM is going to disappoint for sure and Dell, HWP, CPQ etc will have to stretch their accounting to look close to decent. I'll also take on some of their puts, as well as some other PC/semi stocks.

And then there is the SEC requirement that the book-keeping be cleaned up by June, which has already triggered some warnings about "restating past earnings" (what earnings?), etc. There is bound to be more of this, so I want to have exposure to some of the better swamp creatures. (g)

Best, Earlie
