let me tell you my son, goodyear tire, boeing, coke, mcdonalds, citibank, jp morgan, will all still be standing 5-10 years from now, while 95% of your high flyers in nasdaq will never make it to the big league, thats the Dow, not the nasdaq, thats pretty much the 5 year failure rate of start-ups, a tried and true statistic.

BB,

That statistic sounds a little funny to me. It suggests that five years ago 95% of the companies in the Nasdaq were different companies than the ones which are currnetly there.

Bobby, correction: 92% of Rydex money was in bull funds....
dropped to 91% yesterday. it's the hi-tech component that has dropped from slightly over 90% of all bull fund assets to 81%. overall the Rydex ratio stands at 0,09, which means that only 9 % of all assets remain in the bear funds. this is a 0,01 improvement over the recent all time low...

regards,
