I am not having those problems. I set up my SI for the classic interface, don't know if that makes any difference.

Word Perfect for DOS was great. I never liked the Windows versions because they changed all the commands. Too bad for them, I switched to Microsoft Office.

What really angers me is the baloney about how they had to destroy the original SI because it was causing the slowness and glitches.
I see absolutely NO improvement. In fact, it's rarely been worse.
I have been forced, due to normal time constraints, to eliminate more than 1/2 of my original bookmarks. Since without BrowseMaster, there is no way I can cover the original amount of material. <to wit, GNET threatened the writer of the BrowseMaster program with legal action if he wrote a new program for the current interface> Their promises that a program would be written by GNET to replace it also appears to have been a pipe dream.
I am so disgusted with their poor decision making in this area, I sold my entire GNET position the day after they closed Classic.
As a loyal SI member since 1996, I have never been as disgusted with SI/GNET as I have been in the past month.

Jenna, I don't want to sounded biased <g> but IMO, Silicon Invester has never run better than it has the past few weeks. I do occasionally get a posting error when I have turned the preview off, but checking the preview usually works. I heard SI for the Palm is awesome. Gee it would be nice to leave the house during the trading day!

And I even have the advertisements turned ON and it's speedy. On a regular dial up modem with crappy local access.
NO DSL, NO cable here for a year : (
