Is there any 'tree doctors' in the house. It would be handy to know how much carbon dioxide an average 30 year old evergreen tree can process back into oxygen. With gasoline as a fuel; an infernal combustion engine @ 20% efficiency dumps 20 pounds of carbon dioxide daily and a large number of pollutants, a p.e.m. @ 40% efficiency dumps 10 pounds of CO2 and a larger amount of pollutants. Compared to GLE's solid oxide @ 80% efficiency dumping 5 pounds of CO2 and NO POLLUTANTS (used as a fuel). A 'tree hugger' can figure out how many trees can be planted with the savings of a not needed 300 billion dollar pure hydrogen infrastructure.

Toyota is already planting trees, and are developing a fast growing 'hybrid' tree right now. Shell Oil is into bio-mass and other oil/natural gas industries are planting 'green zones' to act as 'carbon (dioxide) sinks'.

Another note of interest where I live; gasoline is approx. $2.80 cdn. per U.S. gallon with half being taxes. Methanol is $28.00 per gallon with regular sales taxes.

Natural gas (a renewable resource) is 10 cents per cu.ft. compared to pure hydrogen @ $10.00 per cu.ft. regular sales taxes applicable.

Who would of thunk that the oil and auto industries are greener than some other companies. Believe It or Not!
