Paul, Regarding Wildfire... official rollout May 16th, here read it for yourself: acersoft.com "o Compaq expects to have at least 200 firm orders for WildFire systems on announcement day. This is consistent with Compaq?s publically stated expectations of $1B in incremental WildFire revenue in FY2000." Not bad for an Alpha product... Regarding low-cost Alpha: theregister.co.uk $2000 , not bad... should keep Itanium at bay on the workstation front, just as fast and a WHOLE lot cheaper. Regarding Itanium, am I worried? Why not at all, still don't know who will buy it and why. Especially given that IA32 in the form of Williamette and Athlon with L2, will be just as fast... Rob
