Anyone else remember?" You don't know? Sheeessshhh - you seemed SO POSITIVE that SpitFarl was smaller than the AthWiper !! Heck - 100 sq. mm. is essentially the same size !! How did AMD cram an additional 128 K L2 cache into it without making the die bigger? And do you think AMD is SANDBAGGING when Drew Praire said SpitFarl was due in mid-year? Seems kinda late, right? I guess AMD doesn't want Intel to go out of business - so they are DELAYING the BackFire chip !!! Paul
