In a Great Democracy (such as the United States), one may fight the government and win! Unless your idea of a religion is defined as being a cult, unless it's discovered that an endangered species lives on your once-valuable-but-now-unusable-and-valueless land, unless the EPA decides that your drainage ditch is a Wet Land, unless the IRS decides that you're a tax cheat and seizes your accounts (evidence be damned) because a neighbor who's mad at you says that you're hiding income(try fighting with no money), unless a drug suspect makes up a claim he bought from you (in a plea bargain) and your properties are seized under forfeiture law (ditto), ...
