Morning Dave,

Remember one of Voltaire's basic rules is to NEVER write calls on stocks that you do not like fundamentally and do not want to own. Don't do it just for the premium only. You could wind up with mediocre stocks in your portfolio.

The reason we prefer G&K stocks (especially the Gorillas) is that they are among the most fundamentally sound stocks you can find. You can be reasonably certain that if you buy one of these babies, that you won't get a nasty surprise to the downside. And there goes your premium and a whole lot more.

For me the safest call would be on a gorilla or a king that is in the lower end of the channel. There is virtually no downside and if your stock gets called away, buy more of it or a different G&K that might be paying as good or better premium.

That being said, I don't recommend any CC's on QCOM right now. I am looking for a good move here and it will get called away.
