Precisely the point.

We don't know enough about the details of the agreement. The release does say that Q and MOT have the right to sell CDMA chipsets without paying royalties to each other.

The release is admittedly fuzzy. However, if MOT gets its act together and makes chipsets that work properly, it will presumably be on a more or less level playing field with Q. This would lead to price wars as any pricing advantage Q has may disappear.

This is simply a possibility as the press release is not very clear. I hope someone has a better understanding of the issue than I do.
