i'd really like to start a competing station w/o spin...an outfit that looks behind the numbers and the WS hype. i know, it's an impossible dream, but still it would be nice... listening to the crap spewing forth from CNBS is really sickening...the only segment that still contains a bit or two of useful information is the the segment with Insana from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. EST. the remainder is just fund managers talking up their positions and a highly concentrated dose of bubble spin.... the quality of the content has actually deteriorated markedly over the past year or so. i remember for a time they had Jimmy Rogers as a guest host every Friday...that was refreshing, an intelligent contrarian voice. since he's gone off on his trip around the globe the last interesting guest host has disappeared. i guess the bubble participants want this bland fare...
