The economy moves on, but the threat of technology on the demise of growth is looming in the future.

Why such gloom and doom?

Technology business is changing. The large is larger. Every pc has now Intel motherboard. Intel engineers made a mistake in chipset, and every OEM has less powerful computers. Some even can not be shipped to customers due to those defects. Economy suffered.

Changing strategy at IBM pc; steal business by taking part of the sales revenue from DELL by contract to supply all the components in Dell computers. Now DELL only needs a case designer in their engineering department.

Any mistake in a large company now effects all the technology business. Risk is extremely high. Also the human resources can no longer be maintained with all the layoffs soon to come. One engineer can do all the computer designs. God have mercy on his health.

Fortunately, the world wide engineering human resources are still intact. Does it mean that we have to train them? More variety to be the spice in life? More foreign products to invade America? Remember the Auto invasion from Japan, when the big three forgot to compete with new designs and better quality control?

Intel has to allow more variety to compete with and stay superior; rather then practice monopoly like Microsoft?
