JDN: They've had that attitude ever since they decided that $50 billion annual revenues by 2000 was their top priority. That lead to the acquisition of DEC. You are right,they talk a good game on costcutting but they have been slow to cut any product lines, any outlets and enough personnel. In fact, they are adding personnel. Profit is not their priority - revenues, size, prestige is their priority.
