hi Ken,

I've not done 'unwind' orders, but I have done buy-writes. I would think if a broker can do buy-writes, they can do the opposite (sell-cover?)

IMO if you have a fast execution system, I've been able to catch a momentum 'wave' where a stock will strongly trend in my direction for continuos movement so I can leg out (or in).
you just have to trust your execution system and do a lot of praying along the way :-)
but it can be worthwhile, often nabbing an extra half point or so.

Ken,

Thanks for the input.

It appears that the market maker tries to hit the outside of the spreads bid on the stock and ask on the call.

I ended up legging out.

Regards,

Dave
