RRC (+15% today)

Paul: 2 1/2 - 3 is a gimme. Like a hot knife through butter. Just a matter of time. Slider's long term target of 5+ is right on the money. JMHO.

Company Press Release

Range Resources Headquarters Damaged

FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 2000--RANGE RESOURCES CORPORATION (NYSE:RRC - news) announced today that its headquarters in the BankOne building located at 500 Throckmorton Street in Fort Worth, Texas, was badly damaged by a tornado yesterday evening. It appears that no personnel or members of their families were injured. However, local officials have closed off the area of downtown affected by the storm. This prevents an in-depth assessment of the extent of damage to the offices. Regardless, it is clear that the BankOne building can not be occupied for the foreseeable future. While it is expected that there has been substantial damage to office equipment and files, the Company does not believe the damage will have any long-term impact on its business. Furthermore, it is believed that most of the cost of reconstruction and relocation will be covered by insurance.

Until plans to relocate the office can be finalized, anyone wishing to contact the Company or one if its headquarters' personnel should do so via Range's temporary headquarters at 817/870-2601 or 817/735-8782 after 9 a.m. CST, Thursday, March 30, 2000.

RANGE RESOURCES CORPORATION (NYSE:RRC - news) is an independent oil and gas company operating in the Permian, Midcontinent, Appalachian and Gulf Coast regions of the United States.
