Jim, re:<Maybe Drew is Sandbagging - and SpitFire is due next week?>

I did find it curious that a major broker initiated coverage with a strong buy and an $85 target -- saying "they have the microprocessor products to effectively compete across both the "value" and "performance" segments" -- if, in fact, the Spitfire is over 3 months away.

Either K6-2+ is real at 600 MHz (good) or Spitfire is early (better).

McMannis - Re: "The spitfire may be ready now but as with the Athlon...AMD may have blown the motherboard situation. Also, might AMD be waiting for a Spitfire-Thunderbird co-release...?"

Well - which is it?

If it is "AMD be waiting for a Spitfire-Thunderbird co-release...?", then that implies a mid-year Thump-A-turd release.

SCUMbria won't like that DELAY !!!
