HJ, can I ask how you allocate your assets among stocks (speculative and core, etc), real estate (personal and investment), and any other assets (cash, bonds, etc). And is this allocation based on financial planning advice, personal strategy, gut feel, random circumstance or ? Feel free to answer, pm, or ignore, as you prefer.

ps. My problem with financial planners is that they appear to advise by textbook. And textbooks by definition are out of date. If I'd listened to a planner while at csco, I'd have sold most of my stock and not be close to where I am today....
