That would explain afew things, like how the Spitfire has a similar/smaller die size than Athlon.
I have a couple questions for the designers...
1. Could 64k of Athlons L1 cache simply be switched over to an L2?
2. What would the performance of a 64k-64k cache be?
3. Can you have an L3 cache on the MB?
