MM, >>The ladies looked real good last night.. Now we get the big boyz...U Conn.

Yes. I have been listening to and watching the gals all year and last night they played one of the best games of the year. They played like they were on a mission!!! The previous game against Iowa State showed they could play a tough game and win in the last seconds of a game. Hopefully Rene can put together a game plan to beat U Conn. The bench has come alive during the Big Ten Tournament and at the NCAA. BTW, Garner was in foul trouble all night during the Iowa game and the bench played like veterans. This team is also displaying "chemistry" which IMO is important for the UConn game.

Man, I hope they can beat UConn.

As far as the men's program is concerned, it seems like a school has to have a winning program to start to recruit the players necessary to compete in the big ten and beyond. We have a ways to go. Rene has been at Penn State for around 20 years and this is her first time in the final four. She has had good teams in the past. I have been wondering if she could coach at this level level, but it looks like she has figured it out.
