i was told by my broker that someone came onto CNBC and recommend the stock.

The other fellow is correct about the CNBC mention. I was watching when the guy mentioned it and checked the stock later to see it was up $8. Today I decided to buy and got in at $34 3/8. The comment was bullish in that the question was "What do you see as the next Intel or Microsoft?" The answer was XLTC. I believe the guy runs Smith Barney's aggresive growth fund. Seemed like he knew what he was talking about. Said it had the potential to be huge, but was a solid performer in the mean time, so not much risk.
