Did they put you in solitary on Paris Island? --- No Mephisto. They gave him a choice; no more peanut butter, or Vietnam. --- Then, once he was there, it was a simple matter of telling him "JDN, we've hidden some peanut butter up into enemy lines. Here's the map to where it is. Go find it and let us know what you see along the way. If and when you get back, you can have *this jar of peanut butter!" (waving it infront of him). :) --- Actually the Southeast Asia tour was a misunderstanding in itself. One day on Parris Island as he was standing by this one bus devouring a jar of peanut butter with his bare hands, some officer asked "Where do you belong, soldier?" and JDN couldn't talk because all of the peanut butter he pointed to his full mouth and attempted "Mouth - Peter Pan". Well, to the officer it sounded like "South - Viet Nam", so off he went. <g> -JCJ
