Excel Technology Inc. (XLTC) and C-Cor.net Corp. (CCBL) are two companies favored by Richard Freeman, portfolio manager for Salomon Smith Barney Aggressive Growth Fund.

In a CNBC interview Tuesday, Freeman said Excel is a leading commercial laser company he expects will grow by 25% a year. He believes the company's laser marker product used to mark parts or boxes on a conveyor belt will be "the enabler for business-to-business commerce."

C-Cor.net is a full-scale network provider Freeman sees "growing much faster" than other cable-TV equipment providers without the same recognition.

This was in WSJ interactive. Thanks for the previous post from the Yahoo thread.
