Dear Sabrejet: If you read my posts from some time back, you would know that I have a small position which I keep mainly for purposes of maintaining a sense of humility. Secondly, for the fun we have on this thread, and finally for the remote chance CPQ may get their head out of their ass and run it like a real company. JDN

Sabrejet,
Your nerves are showing. Maybe you should sell.

It's true that CPQ took big write offs in 1999 for big layoffs in 1999 and 2000. They have not laid off the 10,000 head count. Hmmmm, doesn't that present some type of accounting problem?

LOL!! You know not what a Saber can do.. that man has rattled real Sabers! You are lucky coming in now,, not good. In time (possibly a long time) your bet will pay off. In reality this company has not performed and is not performing! If you look at others in the sector this is a joke. There are some here on SI and JDN is one-- that losing the amount of your portfolio would not hurt. No one here can hammer the company as well as it and mgmt does every day. This is a fun thing some you win and others go to crap! Big deal. If you cannot take some honest comments try becoming Throttle Two at the Zoo,, Yahoo! Grow up!
