The main reason the RBOC's need more time to get market share is not because of the equipment lead time or needing to run dedicated lines, etc. It is simply because of 1 reason that sums up the "old style" companies that they are. That reason is CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you read any of the DSL report sights you will find a truck load of complaints ranging from lost orders to wrong billing, etc. The lack of customer service is the only thing that keeps the Bells from gaining even more market. You are right about the CLEC's hitting the FCC hard. I think they will prevail....but only after the Bells have made their mark. Every week they slow the CLECs down, they get thousands more customers that have been panting and drooling for DSL. The CLEC's will be left with the masses that think it is a good idea to get DSL, but won't pay the $49.00/month. They will have to work for their customers by providing service and lower cost....all of which G.Lite does with the line sharing ruling. We are getting there. Just a few more speed bumps. What is that saying, "Patience is a .....something or other."
