Liz Claiborne Inc. Realizes Savings with Deployment of ImageX.com E-Procurement System

Fashion Apparel Designer Uses the ImageX.com Corporate Online Printing Center to Reduce Delivery and Process Time for Printed Business Materials

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2000-- ImageX.com(R) (Nasdaq: IMGX), a leading business-to-business Internet market maker for printed business materials, announced today that Liz Claiborne Inc. (NYSE: LIZ), has deployed the ImageX.com Corporate Online Printing Center to order its multiple branded business materials over the Internet.

More than 2,000 Liz Claiborne employees in 12 offices have access to the e-procurement system.

"ImageX.com has proven itself to be an innovator in making online printing a reality for large businesses like ours," said Joan Santoro, purchasing agent, Liz Claiborne Inc. "We used to receive a hundred request forms from employees each month for printed materials. There was an endless string of faxes back and forth to the typesetters. Now, with ImageX.com, we design and order our materials online -- dramatically reducing paperwork and lag time on all requests."

"ImageX.com created the Corporate Online Printing Center to bring large businesses the convenience, efficiencies and control of a one-stop, online printing center," said Dana Manciagli, ImageX.com's vice president of sales and marketing. "We worked with Liz Claiborne to gain efficiencies in their design and ordering process nationwide, while assuring them consistency in usage across all of their brands such as Liz Claiborne, Dana Buchman and Elisabeth."

As part of the new solution, ImageX.com developed a secure, private Web site customized to meet all of Liz Claiborne's comprehensive printing needs. Through this Web site, employees instantaneously create, proof, order and track business communications materials online. Over the next year, consistent with their growth, Liz Claiborne plans to expand further the number of materials available through the system and to roll it out to additional offices.
