"Natural gas storage activity typically reverts to injections from
withdrawals at the end of March and it now appears likely that levels
will end this season below 1.0 Tcf, or at least 25% lower than last
year. Total storage levels now stand at 1.021 Bcf with only one week
left in March to be reported. Therefore, while storage levels did not
even reach 3.0 Tcf by the beginning of November in 1999, they are likely
begin this injection season more than 350 Bcf lower than at the end of
March last year. In addition, we do not foresee any net increase in
deliverability this summer given the magnitude of the apparent
year-over-year deliverability shortfall and current drilling activity.
During the summer, weather is much less of an influence on demand and
storage activity than in the winter. Therefore, it is more likely that
less excess natural gas will be available to refill storage this summer
relative to last year. Consequently, storage operators will have to
"scramble" to try to refill storage this summer and yet will likely
come up short. Thus, we expect natural gas prices to remain relatively
strong throughout 2000 and perhaps even gain further momentum approaching
the end of the storage injection season this fall."

PG,

Looks like another good week for SFY. Looking at the P/F
chart this morning I noticed the RS Stochastics sitting in
the 95+ range. This could precipitate some short term
selling in the stock but not enough to screw with the
primary uptrend. Earnings estimates are based on 2.30 NG
so I wouldn't be surprised by 1st quarter earnings blowout.
Looking for a 20+ dollar number soon.
