George Carlin formalized that idea in a routine about idiots and maniacs ... pretty much the only folk to share the road with us us us.

<<And what the hell is wrong with everyone else on the road?>>

They're busy cutting back and forth trying to save 2 seconds on a 5 mile drive.

I read where 80% of intersection accidents happen within 2 seconds of a light change. Now when the light changes I check each way then go. Yesterday I looked each way for those who were trying to beat the light and checked again as I started to go. A guy, yabbering at his rider, went through a light that had been red for at least 2 seconds neither speeding up or slowing down. AND he was looking at his passenger instead of the road. The lady he was driving was WAVING at the people who had the green light.

The bad thing about jackass driving is that it kills innocent people.
