Interesting. Yesterday Prudential reiterated their S.Buy despite the comcast open access announcement. ML was not as enthusiatic though...

multexinvestor.com

The reports are PDF files, but in a nutshell, in an opinion on AOL, ML was bearish on ATHM: "...we view this negatively for ATHM, but maintain our Accumulate/Buy as the stock has weakened to the point where we believe the valuation is justifiable on a relative basis..."

In contrast, Prudential was definitely bullish - quite a few details in the 4 page report, but reiterated Strong Buy and 12 month target of $80 (though noting that the target used to be $125)

Hi Eric- Are you still trading UVEW? I saw the early spike today and set a sell at $6. I knew there might be a chance, and was shocked to see it hit 6 3/8. I thought about going to 6 1/4, but that's life. I am going to watch it and maybe buy it back, especially if it hits the 4-5 range. Lehman buying up 2 1/2 million shares must have raised some confidence.

I've held it since July 1, 1999. I bought it at 2 1/4. Not a bad return. Never did I think it would outperform ATHM.

I thought I would ask you because I knew that you day traded it before. This is a nice day trading stock.

Mark

"For those of you who think MM's are all crooked and sell into buy recommendations guess who was buying up the stock all day today?

PRUS= Prudential Securities"

Hi Eric- Did Pru have a little "early info" on the pacts? I could care less. They have really stood behind this company and suffered like the rest of us.

Hey, it looks like your 1/3 portfolio sell helped us a little. Thanks! I have that kind of luck, too. Did you buy some back?
