NT is still proceeding with acquisitions in the industry and Cisco has stated publically about their plans. I would bet that some publically traded companies would be targets as long as their market cap is not so big that the acquirer (Cisco, NT, Lu) stock would be hit.

There could be an exception to the size of the deals---one example could be Ciena--which may add a great deal to Cisco's market position. I don't hold Ciena but will look to add on weakness.
